Private Lessons
Does your work or family schedule prevent you from taking
evening classes? Maybe your dog doesn’t meet the class qualifications, or you
need extra help with a specific issue? Pawsitive Results offers a variety of
private packages, taught in your home in the SC Midlands area. Please note:
We only offer a limited number of private lessons, based on instructor
availability. Private lessons are offered in the Columbia/Lexington area only.
Locations greater than 10 miles from the instructor’s home will have additional
travel charges.
Puppy Head Start Package
Designed to help your puppy get a good start in life with your family!
Includes a Pawsitive Results New Puppy Kit, featuring a signed copy of Puppy
Care and Training. We’ll cover puppy-proofing the home; housetraining and
crate training basics; crate training basics; management techniques; proper
handling and socialization techniques; bite inhibition; safety and more. For
puppies up to 5 months old. 2 one-hour sessions, $145.
Housetraining Help Package
Sometimes you don’t really need basic obedience, but just need help training
your dog to eliminate where you want! This package is for you, and just covers
housetraining issues. Includes a Pawsitive Results Housetraining kit, featuring
a signed copy of Super Simple Guide to Housetraining. We’ll cover proper
potty schedules; management; confinement and supervision techniques; and how to
successfully housetrain your dog. 2 one-hour sessions, $145.
Family Manners Package
This is perfect for the family who can’t attend our regular group classes
due to scheduling conflicts. Includes a Pawsitive Results Family Manners Kit. We
cover how to get your dog’s attention, sit, stay, down, coming when called, no
jumping, leave it and more. For dogs as young as 15 weeks and up to any age!
Must be up to date on all vaccinations and completely friendly towards people. 4
one-hour sessions, $395. Additional sessions available at a discounted fee.
Competitive Rally Coaching
Prerequisite: You must have attended a Pawsitive Results Family
Manners I clicker class. (Attendance at Rally for Fun or Family Manners II
preferred, but not required.) Phyllis Beasley will customize individual training
sessions to help you improve your performance in American Kennel Club (AKC) or
Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) Rally competition. One-hour sessions, $65
each.
Behavior Package
One free hour consult with no obligation. Is your dog fearful of people? Or
does he growl over his toys or food? After you complete a thorough
questionnaire, an instructor will come to your home to complete a case history
and assessment and determine next steps based on your individual situation. Paid
lesson package includes a custom Pawsitive Results Behavior Help Kit. After
assessment, the instructor will recommend packages ranging from $300 to $580.
More sessions available if needed for a discounted fee.
