Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) Recognizes Quick and Easy Crate Training and Carolina Greyhound News Article

Teoti's training book, Quick and Easy Crate Training, has earned a Maxwell Medallion in the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) awards competition! She also received a Maxwell Medallion for an article she wrote for Carolina Greyhound News, the newsletter for Greyhound Pets of America - South Carolina (Carolina Greyhound Adoptions).

The winners were announced February 12, 2006 in New York City, on the eve of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Unfortunately due to the blizzard and corresponding flight cancellations, Teoti was unable to get to New York for the ceremony. "I regret I was unable to attend the event," Teoti says. "But it's a thrill to have won these national awards. I'm happy to accept them in the mail, if I couldn't be there in person!"

This is the second year in a row Teoti has been recognized by the DWAA. Her last book, The Super Simple Guide to Housetraining, was a finalist in the 2005 awards competition.
