Phyllis Beasley has been with the Pawsitive Results support team for seven years and began training dogs in 1998. She is the proud owner of three Shetland Sheepdogs and a host of other animals. She is an APDT member and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

Phyllis enjoys the world of dog sports and has titled her Shelties in advanced levels of traditional obedience, Rally obedience and agility. Phyllis is also a member of Prescription Paws and has been a Delta Society Pet Partner first with her beloved Sheltie, Mo, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in December 2005 and later with Laddie, who has recently retired.  She is training her newest Sheltie family member, Sky, in Rally obedience, agility and for the conformation ring.

About nine years ago, Phyllis coordinated and co-founded SC Sheltie Rescue, and during her years as coordinator, successfully placed more than 50 Shelties in forever homes. She spends all her free time doing "dog stuff," sometimes to the consternation of her husband!

Ryan Dawkins

Ryan Dawkins is the newest member of the Pawsitive Results support team. She is the proud owner of four rescue dogs, and there are usually one or two foster dogs hanging around as well. She is an APDT and Prescription Paws member, and she is a Delta Society Pet Partner with her Pit Bull, Quincy.

Ryan has rescued or fostered more than 20 dogs over the last six years, and can be regularly found picking stray dogs up off the side of the road.  She also blogs about her love of all things canine and is a tireless Pit Bull advocate.
